    Description

    Offered for purchase is a vintage stoneware jug celebrating the tricentennial of South Carolina. The front is decorated with South Carolina 300 Years 1670 - 1970 and the state flag in blue. The base of the jug is stamped USA; however, I do not know what pottery company made the piece.
    This item is in good vintage condition. There are no major cracks, chips, or repairs. The base shows wear consistent with age and use (photo 7). The jug itself has light superficial scuffs, which adds to its vintage charm. The glaze shows crazing, particularly noticeable on the lighter sections (see photos 8 and 9 for example). Please inspect all photos - they are part of the description.
    Approx. 6 inches tall; 3.5 inches wide.
