In 1963 the world's first knock-type fountain pen "Capless" has been subjected to Raden technique in which small pieces of thinly stripped nacreous layers of shells are sprinkled onto lacquer.
At the top of the Capless Fountain Pen Series, the jet-black luster reflects the iridescent shellfish luster.
A slightly thicker axis is lacquered over, giving a calm feel and a firm hold.
