from JEP

for authorization

All
products sold must
be
installed,
maintained, or adjusted by
a
qualified
ASE technician.
Radiator must
be flow
and
pressure
checked,
repair
and
replace
if necessary
(thermostat,
temperature sensor,
water pump,
radiator
hoses
must be
replaced
as
well).
All
engines
and
cylinder
heads
are equipped
with
heat
tabs
,
to
protect
the buyer
and
seller
from
overheated engines
. If
the heat
tab
is melted or removed,
this
warranty will be
voided
.
Customer
should replace
timing belt(s),
no
warranty for consequential
damages
from
broken
timing
belt(s)
.
Front
and rear
crank seals
must be replaced
.
Return Policy and Refund
Exchange
or
Refund:
If
a
product does not
rema
i
n serviceable for
the
full
warranty period,
then upon
return
of
the
defective unit
to
JEP
by the
buyer,
JEP will
,
at
its
sole
discretion
,
either
provide
a
product
exchange
or refund, any
and
all
exchanges
&
refunds
occurring
after
30
days
shall
be subject
to
a
pro-rated
cost
by
time usag
e.
JEP reserves
the
right
to
tear
down
and
examine defective
products
before
adjustment
will
be
made
.
No return or
adjustments
after
30 days
or any previously
installed
products
.
Core needs
to
be
returned
within 30 days
for a full
refund.
Cores
cannot be
returned
after
30
days
of original purchase date-no exceptions
.
All
returns subject
to a minimum 20%
restocking
fee

Special order
parts are not refundable

Pre-Installation Maintenance
Used Engine
:
Drain & replace engine oils to manufacturers suggested levels
Replace oil filter
Replace valve cover gaskets
Replace oil pan gasket & rear main seal
Inspect and replace, if needed, timing gears, chains or belts and gaskets
Replace thermostat & gasket
Flush cooling system and refill with antifreeze to appropriate level
Install new spark plugs
Install new belts and hoses
Used Automatic Transmission:
Transmission
cooler lines must
be flushed
Replace transmission front seal and rear seal
Make
sure
the torque
converter
is all the
way into the front pump
Transmission oil and
gear oil
must be filled
prior to installation
Some front wheel
drive
